Outdoor activities
On site, you will be able to practice many activities throughout the seasons.
We organize photo-hikes in the enclosed park in order to go on an adventure and capture unforgettable memories while hunting mushrooms when it is the season. You can also walk between your holiday resort, the surroundings of the castle, the place called Vieillecour and its forest where the highest point of the Dordogne is located (491 meters), take the hiking trails that leave from the surroundings or from further, by walk or by bike. You will also be able to fish all year round for free and without a permit. On cloudless evenings do not hesitate to raise your eyes to the sky and admire the celestial vault, you can then contemplate the stars and the moon and discover or recognize many constellations and planets without any light pollution.
A wide choice of sports, cultural and gastronomic activities
If you ever want to do tree climbing, bike-rail, paddle, mini-golf or many other activities for young and old, the Hermeline space accessible to all, and located 5 kilometers away, will delight the whole family. But that’s not all, you will also have to visit the local historical heritage made up of numerous castles, fortresses and other abbeys without forgetting the ornate cave of Villars. Your various excursions may be an opportunity to (re)familiarize yourself with our gastronomy: foie gras, wines, truffles, porcini mushrooms, nuts, apple juice or even chestnuts are available from producers, markets, restaurants or in the packed lunches that we offer (link to services). These getaways will also be a good way to enjoy local art and culture through the various activities offered by the surrounding villages, towns and associations.
The estate, its holidays cottages and its suite are ideal starting points for discovering the Périgord Vert, so named by Jules Verne who marveled at the palette of greens offered by our beautiful countryside with its meadows, forests.
