Richard Lionheart suite

The Richard Lionheart suite will allow you to live a unique experience for up to 4 people in the private castle of Vieillecour where the former king found refuge when he was injured at the siege of Chalus in 1199. Come and spend a historic moment out of time by booking your stay, you will be bathed in a medieval atmosphere by privatizing part of the house. The charming suite is composed of a 48m² bedroom with walls stone and exposed beams as well as a wooden floor.It has a four-poster double bed, a stone fireplace and a bathroom with double sink and WC. If you need a second bedroom do not hesitate to contact us to book it, the suite has one of 26m² with two single beds, exposed beams, oak floor, a small brick fireplace and a large storage cupboard.

You can have your breakfast in the inner courtyard of the castle taking advantage of its terrace and its view of the surrounding countryside. In order to complete the experience and delight your taste buds, we offer you an optional table d’hôte where dishes from our beautiful region are honored and products house made or by local producers.
